The stolen bicycle: Muhammad ali becomes a boxer
When Muhammad ali was 12 years old,he and a friend went to the Colombia auditorium to partake in the free hot dogs and popcorn available for visitors of the Louisville home show.when the boys were done eating,they went back to get their bicycles and discovered that Muhammad ali’s had been stolen.
Furious,Muhammad ali went to the basement of the Columbia auditoriumto report the crime to a police officer named joy martin,who was also a boxing coach at the Columbia Gym.When Muhammad Ali said he wanted to beat up the person who stole his bike,martin told him that he should probably learn to fight first.A few days later ,Muhammad Ali began boxing training at Martin’s gym.
From the very beginning,Muhammad Ali took his training seriously.He trained six days a week.On school days,he woke early in the morning so that could go running and then would go workout at the gym in the evening.When martin’s gym closed at 8 pm,ali then would go by train another boxing gym.over time,Muhammad Ali also created his own eating regimen including milk and raw eggs for breakfast.concerned about what he put in his body,Ali stayed away from junk food,alcohol,and cigarettes so that he could be the best boxer in the world.

Shortly after returning to Holland,We went to Normandy to relax a bit.At one point I saw an old lady in wheelchair and was half expecting her to lookat me with a sorry face and hold up her hand.She did not.Instead she continued to chat happily with a lady sitting next to her and did not even notice us.We had gotten so usedto people using every possible excuse for begging thatit was a real relief to see someone like that just act like a normal,eque,human being.
Furthermore no one singled us out for particular commercial attention.We could just walk o the streets peacefully! I had never expected that I would one day enjoy this peacefulness;it was something that I had taken for granted before our trip.
After a few more weeks in Holland we drove to Estonia,where we have been living since.My life has been punctuated by short trips to other European countries; work and family visits to Holland,a trip to riga,a Halloween party in Barcelona,New year in paris and few days in London.
But we were also exploring more of Estonia.we just drove to vormsi island,12 kilometers off the coast,over the frozen sea! It was quite an experience to drive on pure ice,not knowing exactly how thick the ice was.
This was our first winter in 3 years and we lived in the north of Europe it was also a real winter;it froze and snowed.it was different experience again and quite enjoyed it.
